They all have business models that require a recurring payment relationship with customers/members to thrive. Now, meet Reveknew, our software and payment platform for businesses, associations, enterprise product teams, and public institutions to manage recurring payment operations more easily and profitably. 

We're thrilled to announce that we're nearing a version ready for testing and feedback! Here's a sneak peek into what we’re building, why we’re building it, and how it can benefit organizations across Africa. We’d love for you to join our beta test in Q1 2025.

What are we building? 

A software and payment solution to simplify managing and collecting recurring fees or donations for professional, business, charitable and public organizations.

🧑🏽💻Software. A web application that makes managing core business processes such as subscription management, billing automation, recurring payment collection and reporting/analytics a breeze.

💵💳Payments. Enhanced SMS with payment links powered by licensed providers like PaySwitch in Ghana, lets consumers pay with mobile money or card - no app required! 

Why are we building Reveknew? 

Let’s rewind a bit. In 2019, we developed a platform for wholesale pharmaceutical procurement, featuring instalment payments—a common method for bulk purchases. Unfortunately, regulatory hurdles kept it from launching.

Fast-forward to 2020: Various education, church, and wholesale trade scenarios highlighted the need for our instalment payment feature. By 2021, we realized a significant insight: Many everyday transactions in Ghana and Africa revolve around recurring payments.

Think beyond Netflix or Showmax. School fees in instalments, credit union contributions, susu, and quarterly car maintenance are all forms of recurring payments in our lives.

How can Reveknew benefit organizations?

Reveknew enhances recurring payment operations across these kinds of activities:

1. Fees & Dues: Recurring payments for access to services/products (e.g., monthly lunch plans, monthly beauty product refills, quarterly air-condition servicing, annual association dues).

2. Repayments & Deposits: Instalment payments for credit purchases or deposits for savings and investment schemes (e.g., daily susu contributions, weekly retailer repayments).

3. Donations: Regular contributions to support social or faith-based causes (e.g., monthly charity donations, and church pledges redeemed over 3 months).

4. Statutory Levies: Recurring public and government levies (e.g., monthly waste collection fees, quarterly municipal fees, annual license renewals, monthly bus passes).
